Nicolas A. Widmer

Nicolas, a Swiss national, founded AICO in 1998 after having spent 13 years in the foreign exchange markets.  starting as a trader in the treasury of Citicorp, he then joined JP Morgan as a member of the treasury services group followed by a move back into fx-trading, where he was responsible for dm/chf book and proprietary positions.

His believe is that there is always considerable talent and trading strategies in the alternative investment area, which can support and serve investors to enhance the return profile of their investment portfolios.

Dr. Christopher Wahlquist 

Christopher, Swiss and Swedish national, has been active in alternative investments for more than two decades.  he joined AICO from UBS, where he was a senior investment committee member on one of the world´s largest alternative investment platforms.  he was involved in fund selection and portfolio management across all strategies, styles and regions; headed the business development function within the team to support global sales of customized fund of funds portfolios and multi-alternative assets solutions, meeting with institutional and private clients globally.  previously christopher was with a london based cta and trading stock index derivatives. 

Christopher holds a doctorate from the University of St Gallen.  he has been active as a speaker amongst other at the national convention of the Swiss Bankers Association, the German Bundestag and Bloomberg.
