Nicolas A. Widmer
Nicolas, a Swiss national, founded AICO in 1998 after having spent 13 years in foreign exchange markets. Starting as a trader in the treasury of Citicorp, he then joined JP Morgan as a member of the treasury services group followed by a move back into fx-trading, where he was responsible for DM/CHF book and proprietary positions.

Dr. Christopher Wahlquist
Christopher, a Swiss and Swedish national, brings 30 years of experience in alternative investments. Prior to AICO, he held a senior role at UBS as an investment committee member of one of the world’s largest alternative investment platforms and led the business development function focusing on institutional clients. Before, he worked with a London-based systematic hedge fund.
He holds a doctorate from the University of St Gallen and has been a speaker at the national convention of the Swiss Bankers Association, the German Bundestag and Bloomberg.
Officially registered, in accordance with Art. 32 Abs. 1 FIDLEG and Art. 42 FIDLEV, in the Swiss Register of Client Advisors, which in turn is supervised by the Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA.
